Wood Floor Designs supply engineered oiled oak flooring in several different colours and designs. Real wood is a natural product, and will expand and contract depending on its environment (as with all wood products).

Our engineered flooring comprises 3 layers of wood, providing a highly stable product suitable for use throughout the home. Unlike solid floors which can be more susceptible to shrinkage or expansion, engineered boards have a 4mm top layer of finished Oak, a middle layer of Birch and a bottom layer of ply. If the Oak layer tried to expand, the bottom ply layer helps stop this from happening.

We currently offer 9 ranges of flooring, however we are continually looking at other types of flooring to bring to the market. Click on each floor picture to see a further room image. Then when you have chosen, feel free to contact us for a sample. Our ranges are:

Calista:- bringing a charming country atmosphere to your home. These floors are either plain sanded, brushed (giving a rougher texture to the board), or distressed. Distressed floors look like they should – lived in and marked (and any additional marks just add to the character!). Their lovely natural shades give a real sense of authenticity much like a reclaimed floor.

Solidfloor :- A homely floor with finer detail, inspired by nature. These artistic floors show the true beauty of the grain in various ways, whilst still giving that natural ambience. A stylish range of floors to suit any decor - old or new!
